This initiative arises thanks to all the mobilizations that took place in March for Women's Day, where we felt the need to show how at Commit we work every day to reduce the wage and employment gap between men and women, and above all, for gender equity within the IT industry. At Commit, more than 50% of the people who work here are women. We wanted to go beyond simply acknowledging our female leaders, so we asked them to talk about their experiences and share real-world stories about the people who helped support them and create the opportunities for them to pursue a career in IT.
"My commitment to this leadership role is to actively foster an enviroment where everyone's voices are heard and help to create a fair and inclusive place to work"
"As a woman and at my age, I thought that entering and working in the IT field was going to be quite challenging, but nowadays there are many efforts to change that reality."
MARÍA JOSÉ MARRA
"I discovered that programming could be exciting, that solving a problem could be something that could entertain me for hours. From then on I knew I had to follow that path."
"I can't imagine working in any other type of company. The work environment, the culture and the people are very precious to me"
"My message this month is that no matter the age, gender, or life circumstances, you can always go for it. All you need is the WILLINGNESS."
MARÍA NOEL REISSIG
"We can change our minds and take different paths in both personal and professional life as many times as we want, because there is always, always, something better waiting for us. Take the courage to make that decision. TODAY."
